• First Wednesday of the month, 6:30pm – 9:00pm
• Networking at 6:30, meeting is from 7pm – 9pm

The Landlording SubGroup topics will include but not be limited to the following:  

• preparation of the apt. or house
• successful advertising
• phone techniques
• tenant credit
• previous landlord and criminal check
• lease preparation
• security deposit accounting (both deposit and return to tenants)
• move in and move out procedures
• tenant management and tenant retention
• eviction
• property accounting, tax planning & preparation
• creating sales contracts (buying and selling)
• 1031 exchanges and other topics of your choice

 Each month 1-3 of these topics will be discussed in detail

Other seasoned investors and SJI vendors will share their expertise and knowledge 

 

What to Bring

Bring your favorite book or program, or one you might want to borrow out for a swap (if you would like to participate), business cards to network, a SUPER great attitude, something to share (maybe something really useful to you that you would like to share), questions, answers, stories.
